Skylar wants a relationship, but not one that just exists because she has money or is pretty. She wants someone who likes who she is, rather then what she has. You just need to be a bully and you're automatically one! People always hated on her so she's kinda cautious of people she first meets… That doesn't make a good first impression, believe me. Her interest in the supernatural is for some people also a big reason to hate her, because they think she's crazy. Even some of the adults hate on Skylar: Why? Because they don't like the fact that she, or rather her parents have so much fame and money. |

tbqh ultimate plot basis: these teens have both been held back grades. let them bond over that strange phenomenon: the quiet, unnerving feeling being older than EVERYONE in their grade. okay maybe it's not as weird as the strange phenomena of anytown but it's definitely something.
okay, james dunn wyatt like SKYLAR ASTON is also a pro @ skipping class too. given it's a small town and they both have bad streaks i wanna say they would kinda know each other bc of that. making smalltalk outside the vice principal's office bc of bad attendance, summer school that james managed to pull through to get to senior but skylar maybe didn't hence her being held a?? YEAR BEHIND I GUESS. idk if she went thru those motions.
aaanyway, while i'd kinda want to do a thread of james and sky meeting doing something like skipping it would have to be in the past... and if james met her in the past, he'd be friendly probably be a bit perturbed and weirded out by the incessant mystery talk that skylar learns to reign in (i'm sorry he ends up in that majority ;____; ) . but things change for james when his dad mysteriously disappears so the tl;dr; for this plot is: acquaintances beforehand on account of their kinda similar school issues but REAL BOND STARTS WITH POTENTIAL INVESTIGATIONS!??!
anyway, this is just my take! gimme feedback on what works or what doesn't. skylar is a cutie (i love her avoidance ;____; ) so PLOTS!!! |

acquaintances in the past Well, Skylar never had to attend summer school (her parents tend to fix things with their money) but she was pretty often at the vice principal's office, so it's very likely that they know each other because of that. Maybe they even skipped class at the same time and started to talk because of that.
I think in the past sky liked to talk to him (because they are kinda similar), maybe even tried to hold back the urge to talk about the supernatural, because she kinda noticed it when she was weirding people out, but didn't really manage to stop.
I'd really like to do a thread in the past and present, because in the past James may be weirded out by her but in the present, when his dad disappears it changes. (Skylar is totally the type, who would rub it under his nose, when she was right :'D)
Sooo, I'm totally in for your Plot idea, because Skylar would help James with investigation.. not only because she’s interested in the supernatural but also because she kinda wants to help James finding his dad. (plotting is kinda new for me, so I hope It's okay like this o3o) |

yay threads! re: past threads i'm actually really fond of the making convo outside of the vice principal's office? BUT I WOULD LOVE A BUNKING CLASS THREAD TOO!!! yr choice? but i can start it regardless! then we can do a future thread!!

Still, though, Asher will do anything to gain Sky's attention if he sees her alone or without company for even a second. If she ignores him? I could see her also possibly believing that - since Asher is obviously and known to be homeless - he's only looking for money?? Ofc, like I said, nothing will stop him from getting someone new to be his friend. Especially if it's a pretty girl he's never met before. Both teens are intelligent, level-headed, expressive.... okay basically Asher and Sky were probably made to become friends EVENTUALLY. Look at them they're practically twinsies. Not to mention that Asher is VERY tied to the Supernatural so that could be something that interests Sky.
I was thinking they could meet at a party? Or during school? Basically anywhere would work so long as Asher catches her alone and seemingly in need of a buddy to talk to. At one point I def would love for Ash to pull Sky into a Runaways meeting (if she ever mentions her want to join them) and lying about her age just so she can get a taste of what it's like. Of course that could only be a once or twice time thingy but it'd be super cute! Thought we could talk about intros if you're cool with my ideas, add your own if you want. Skylar is totally a babe and is an awesome character so I couldn't help myself <3

Befriending the 'cool guy'~ 'Skylar isn’t the type to really hate anyone (only when he‘s a bully, but he doesn’t seem to be one.. So it’s okay. ) The worst that could happen is, that she starts to distrust him when she noticed that he’s acting kinda fake but even that won’t last long. :'D
She’s the type who would question his reasons to be so persistence and it could happen that she thinks it’s just because she has money (and he has to do his best to prove otherwise. )
I have the feeling that his persistence could annoy her after a while, because she isn’t used to so much attention but if Asher keeps it up she’ll get used to it and maybe even befriend him <3
When she finds out that they are pretty similiar AND that he’s even tied to the supernatural..
Well, let’s say she’s the one who’ll be persistend and ask him about a few (many) things.
Skylar is apparently always alone so it won’t be really hard to catch her alone, in need of a buddy… Sooo, party sounds pretty good for me because – let’s face the truth – she would totally try to befriend some people at the party but isn’t really successful.
I’m also very fond of the idea that Asher would pull Sky into a Runaway meeting because it’s cute~

Which one of us would you rather create a thread? I honestly don't mind. I was thinking maybe having the party at some random rich kid's home in the Baron Estates or maybe an outdoor landscape around Pelican Lake? I'm open for any others idea you have if those don't work out! I'm excited to annoy the heck out of Sky ok.
(i could totally imagine Ash just freaking out on somebody if they seem to be using Sky even just a little bit because "that's my friend and she's super pretty and WAY TOO GOOD for any of you FOOLS so get outta here before I add you to my knuckle sandwich!" ... even if he doesn't fight or know jack about how to anyways...)

Befriending the 'cool guy'~ Skylar never had any real friends, so her way of returning his affection would be really… well, awkward - there is no other way to describe it! She may be expressive but that doesn't mean that she always has a way to show how she feels or how thankful she is.
Okay, okay, back to the topic… ahem, because you seem to have a few ideas *cough* and because I'm a lazy person *cough* I would leave opening a thread to you, If that's really okay for you ^^
(Haha, I could totally imagine Skylar just standing next to him like 'wait, is he really doing this right now? Omg' but she would never show how happy she's that someone is complimenting and protecting her like this. If this would turn into a fight, Sky would be likely the first one to step in and kick some ass. Yeah, she can fight xD)
